Transportation
Reaching Tengboche Monastery requires a multi-day trek. The most common route starts from Lukla, which is accessible by a short flight from Kathmandu. From Lukla, the trek typically takes 3-4 days, passing through villages like Phakding and Namche Bazaar. Porters and guides are readily available in Lukla to assist with the trek. There are no roads or vehicles that go directly to Tengboche.
